Country house. Late C17. Rubble, triple-Roman tile roof, 5 gabled dormers, 3 rubble stacks. Regular frontage.
Garden front of 2 storeys and attics, 7 bays, 2-light ogee-moulded stone-mullioned windows, those to ground and first
floor transomed; stopped labels over attic lights, weathered strings at floor levels; iron framed leaded casements to
each window, some with C17 hinge plates and quadrants. Door opening to third bay in a chamfered stone surround, slab
hood on moulded stone brackets, C20 reproduction panelled door. Single storey outshut to each side; that to left with
a central door opening in a semi-circular headed stone surround, plank door, renewed 2 light mullioned window to each
side. Outshut to right of C20 in conforming style. Interior with 5 co-eval moulded door architraves; 3 broad
fireplaces with wooden lintels and rubble jambs; co-eval staircase, handrail and balusters renewed.
