House. Early-C14 C19, restored late C2O. Rendered, slate roofs, brick stacks gable ends
on garden front. Plan: 2-bay garden front (south-east), parallel corridor at rear,
2 bays north-west of entrance. south-wast (entrance front): 2 storeys. 4 bays, 3 gable
front with valleys between, all window openings with flat surrounds, first floor 12-pane
sash windows, end bay right window opening blind, ground floor left slate roofed,
canted bay, renewed tripartite 16-pane sash window with 8-pane sashes on returns,
16-pane left of entrance, two 8-pane to right in gable end, segmental headed
fanlight with radiating bars, [-panel door with panelled side-lights, fronted by renewed flat roofed wooden Doric
porch. Right return (garden front), 2 bays, gabled tops, 16-pane sash windows, slate
roofed central bay left, similar to one on entrance front.
The property appears to have achieved manorial status in the C19.
