House, now divided. C18, enlarged early C19. Red sandstone random rubble, C20 hipped slate roof, brick stacks at gable
ends of original central block. Central C18 block with early C19 wings set back slightly with slightly lower roofs.
2-storeys, 1:5:1 bays; first floor centre block sash windows, with glazing bars, ground floor ashlar yellow sandstone,
canted bays with sash windows flanking central pedimented Tuscan porch and C18 double door partially glazed. Right-hand
wing segmental headed tripartite casements under relieving arches, left-hand wing similar on first floor but a sash
window with C20 glazed door with side lights below (entrance to the Bellhouse).
