House row. Later C18 facade to a possibly slightly earlier building.
Late C18 or early C19 additions to right and left. Timber framed.
Weatherboarded, with straight joint between each section. Plain tile
roof to left and central sections. Slate roof to right section. 2
storeys and attic. Weatherboarding of all sections continued up into
parapet. Roof of left section with higher ridge, gabled to right and
adjoining chapel to left. Roof of central section hipped to right,
hip returning to rear. Gabled dormer with boarded hatch, to right
hip. Roof of right section forms lean-to along right gable end of
central section. Ridge stack to right end of left section, and
towards right end of central section. Gable end stack to right end of
right section. Irregular fenestration of 5 sixteen-pane sashes with
thin glazing-bars; one to left section (set higher), three to central
section and one to right section. Similar ground-floor windows, but
with tripartite sash to ground floor of left section. Boarded door
with two top lights and flat bracketed hood to left end of left
section. Rectangular porch to the Manse, between left and central
windows of central section, weatherboarded to resemble ashlar and
with ogee pyramidal roof and panelled outer door flanked by slender
Doric pilasters. Door of six fielded panels, with triangular
pediment, under stack, between right and central windows of central
section. Weatherboarded rear right return wing to central section,
with gable end stack to rear and with lean-to to its long left side.
