WINKFIELD

House. Early C18, extended late C18 and late C20.
MATERIALS: part painted brick in Flemish bond, part painted
render. Old tile gabled roof.
PLAN: rectangular double depth plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with parapet. Projecting end chimneys with
offsets, corniced heads and clay pots. Sash windows with
glazing bars and gauged brick arched heads. Garden
(south-east) front was original entrance front. Entrance now
on north-west front, within C20 extension. Symmetrical,
slightly left of centre. 3-bays. 6-panelled door, top 4-panels
glazed, in C20 doorcase with pediment.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
