Pair of cottages. C17 with C19 addition and alteration. Coursed
ironstone rubble with red and glazed black pantile roofs. 2
gable and single ridge brick stacks. L-plan. Single storey with
attics, single bay street front with single 2 light casement
under timber lintel and 2 light through eaves gabled dormer with
stone top and sides. 3 bay side front (Compton Cottage) has C19
red brick rear wing with off-centre half glazed door having late
C19 pent porch, flanked by single 2 light casements with
segmental heads, beyond to right a similar window, and to first
floor a single similar window.
