moulded cornice below parapet; 5 windows with flushed frames, glazing
bars, 2 dormers with wooden cornices and pediments; square-headed plain doorway with
old frame to passage on left; rest of ground floor modern drop front. C18 panelled
room on 1st floor. Very good middle C18 staircase. Red brick wing at back, said
to have built to accommodate Prince Regent, but no details of merit. Photograph in N M
