No 83 Wellington House and attached railings

II

House. Early C19. Red brick with a slate roof and 2 gable stacks. 3
bay. 2 storey. Central doorway with original half-glazed door,
surrounded by an ornate wooden trellis porch with a bell-canted lead
roof. Either side are single glazing bar sashes with rusticated stucco
lintels. Above 3 similar sashes also with rusticated stucco lintels.
Attached to the front by an ashlar rubble wall is a low brick wall with
chamfered ashlar coping topped by a set of spear head railings and
matching central gate. Interior contains turned baluster staircase.
