2/216 Bindon House

G.V. II

House. 1760 with C19 alterations. Coursed limestone rubble with
ashlar quoins and dressings, colourwashed front. Collyweston
slate roof with raised stone coped gables with 2 ashlar gable
stacks, one with moulded cornice. T-plan. Single storey.plus
attics, 3 bay front with first floor band. Central panelled door
with to left a 3 light glazing bar casement and to right a 2
light plain casement. Above the door an ashlar datestone has the
initials JN, the date 1760 and a flower. In the roof are 3
hipped dormers with 2 ight casements having slate hung cheeks.
