Probably former inn, now house. C17 altered and raised mid C18,
with minor C20 alterations. Squared limestone rubble and ashlar
with stucco dressings. Collyweston slate roof with stone coped
gables, 2 red brick gable stacks. 2 storey, with attics, 3 bay
front having central 4 panelled door with plain overlight,
panelled reveals and Doric stucco doorcase, flanked by single
glazing bar sashes. To first floor 3 similar windows. In the
roof are 3 gabled 2 light plain casement dormers with slate hung
cheeks. To the right a wide elliptical carriage arch with impost
and keyblocks, within a lower 2 bay 2 storey range, having C20 3
light window and above a 2 light casement and a 3 light casement.
