Late C18 or early C19. Three storeys in dressed stone with ashlar dressings. Three windows to first floor, centre blocked, others double-hung sashes with glazing bars in rusticated surrounds with fluted keystone. Third storey centre space with raised panel. Moulded bands, cornice and parapet. Early C19 shop front with two windows, one with original glazing bars. Central door with rectangular fanlight.

No 7, Premises occupied by YMCA Youth Centre and No 9 form a group.
