Garden terraces, piers and balustrades, Sir Reginald Blomfield,
1898. Ashlar and red brick. To south and north east fronts of
Brocklesby Park, decorative pillars framing prospect of the Yew
Walk; sqaure shafts with recessed angles, panelled sides bearing
relief carvings of fruit and flowers in William and Mary style,
overhanging cornice surmounted by tall urns with attenuated
knops. To either side and behind are balustrades and terraces,
the lower parts of panelled brickwork, the upper entirely of
ashlar. Turned vasiform balusters, separated by rectangular
panels into bays and supporting a continuous moulded coping.
