11/245 Freames monument, in churchyard,
about 2m north-east of north-east
corner of north porch, Church of
St. Peter and St. Paul

GV II

Chest tomb; early C19; stone. Flat centre to top, with double
splay below, ending in vertical edge to widely-projecting lid.
Sides below slope markedly inwards to base, each with tooled line
outlining trapezium-shaped panel for lettering. All on a double-
splay base on wide, flat stone surround. Commemorates Thomas
Freames, died 1816, Sarah his wife, with other inscriptions, after
1830.
