Formerly one building called the Tent Hotel. rated 1736, but Stour House earlier,
refronted. Two storeys and attic. Red brick with hipped tiled roof and brick
eaves cornice. Three hipped dormers. Six windows, hung sashes, with glazing
bars except to Bridge View. Wood lintels to the two first floor windows of
Oakdene, keystones to the ground floor, Segmental arched beads to the ground
floor windows of Stour House and Bridge View, STour House having a window of
three lights. Stour House has a pedimented doorway with brackets. Oakdene
has a modern pedimented doorway with grooved pilasters. Chamfered panels to
reveals and door. Door to Bridge View has a penticed hood on brackets. One
panelled brick stack. Between Bridge View and Stour House is a stone inscribed
"S (over) W. 1736."
