House, now public house. Early C19, with resited date stone of 1772 and some details of 1930s. Roughcast, with slate roof. Three storeys and four bays, first bay recessed and of two storeys. First floor sill band, top frieze and cornice. Ground floor has five-light window with colonnettes with fluted capitals and small paned casements; first bay has casement windows. Windows to first and second floors are sashed with glazing bars and shutters, central first floor window has pediment. Two entrances flanking five-light window have ramped upper angles to flat surrounds, that to the left now window, that to right has 1930s overlight. Three first floor windows have 1930s iron balconies, the central one with elephant's head beneath. Left return similar. Central entrance in curved recess with semi-circular porch. Columns with fluted capitals.
