Ornamental garden sculpture in form of a cock perched on a tree trunk above a
hen sitting on a nest. Late C19. Bronze. Cock has very fine long tail
feathers. One of a series of Chinese or Japanese sculptures collected for the
garden by the first Lord Crawshaw c1890-1900.
