Late C18/early C19. Brown brick, parapet with stucco band, roof not visible.
3 storeys, 3 windows, outer 2 slightly advanced. All sashes with glazing bars,
that of centre 1st floor with shouldered architrave. Ground floor has entablature
with cornice and architrave and Corinthian pilasters between the windows. Formerly
called the Bowling Green Inn from its position near the former village Bowling
Green (Ref Dunston J 1862).
No 2 (Rose and Crown Public House) and Nos 4 and 6 form an important focal
block at the junction of Bromley High Street and Devons Road.
