1894. Architect John Butler, not surprisingly a Norman Shaw influenced design.
Built on river wall with slipway for boats underneath. Red brick with white stone
bands, parapet with central coped gable. Four storeys, 4 bays. Windows 2 and
3 light with stone mullions and 2 central bays for lookout over the river.
Probably the first River Police Station built as such.
