Mid C18. Brown brick with red dressings. Hipped tiled roof. Modillion eaves cornice
running through to adjoining Old Palace Place. Three storeys, 3 windows wide. Set
forward Tuscan porch; ornamental square headed windows with recessed sashes. Glazing
bars. Iron gates and railings. Important interior possibly by Sir Robert Taylor.
Circa 1760. (CL May 5, 1944).
