Purpose built shops and chambers. Dated 1896. Hard red brick and terracotta.
Jacobean with some Art Nouveau Renaissance detailing. Prominent 5 storey corner
block. 5 windows to Albemarle Street, corner turret and 5 windows to Grafton
Street. Arched ground floor treatment for shops, their windows projecting in part
as rectangular bays with glazed half "barrel vaults". Two 3-storey segmental and
canted oriel bays to Albemarle Street, the corner turret corbelled with lead dome.
Similar oriels to Grafton Street but one of 2 storeys only. Shallow relief Art
Nouveau terracotta panel over Albemarle Street doorway. Corner turret columns
have more conventional Renaissance decoration on shafts.
