House, now 2 houses. c.1820 with C20 additions. Hammer-
dressed watershot stone with graduated stone slate roof.
Double-depth central-staircase plan with 3 storeys and
additions to left. Projecting plinth, rusticated quoins and
eaves cornice. Central door has a fanlight, an open pediment
on 3/4 columns and a stone step approach. Paired 4-light
sash windows on each floor of bays 1 and 3 and single sash
windows in bay 2. All have square-cut surrounds, the former
being separated by a stone mullion. Gable chimney stacks.
Central round-headed stair window to rear with interlaced
glazing bars,impost blocks and keystone. 4-light recessed
flat-faced mullion windows to each floor on either side and
a blocked taking-in door. Bulletin of the Saddleworth
