SADDLEWORTH HOLLY GROVE SE 00 SW Dobcross 4/140 Hollin Greave - Farmhouse G.V. II Laithe-house. c.1800. Hammer-dressed watershot stone with graduated stone slate roof. l-bay 2-storey house with barn and shippon to right (now part of house) and C20 flat-roofed garage against right gable. Quoins. C19 lean-to to left obscures original entrance. 5-light recessed flat-faced mullion to first floor. Round-headed barn door and shippon door to right. 2 and 4-light recessed flat-faced stone mullion windows to gable and two similar but of 5 lights to rear. Opposed barn door at rear has been altered and concealed by a glazed lean-to. A C20 window is inserted above. Coped gables with kneelers. Gable chimney stack and one ball finial. Included for group value.
