Milestone. Probably early C19. Painted ashlar. Square tooled block c.1/2 metre
high with low domed pyramid top. Set diagonally to road. Tooled frames
surround inscriptions EDGE 2 1/2 on west and MIDN 7 on east faces. O.S. bench
mark on east face.
