War Memorial. c.1920. Polished granite base, Portland stone
statue. Figure of Saint George with sword and shield, on a
pedestal with bay leaf wreaths and coats of arms on each
face. Brass plaques with rolls of honour are attached to the
tall square shaft which is on a projecting base and small
stylobate.
