House and cottage. Probably late C17 with late C18 and
early C19 alterations and additions. Coursed rubble and
hammer-dressed stone with a graduated stone slate roof and
brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 2 bays, with rear outshut
and 2-storey extension and lean-to extension to each end.
The doors are placed centrally and have square-cut.
surrounds. 2, 3 or 4-light flat-faced stone mullion windows
to each house, those to the right each having had a mullion
removed. Stone quoins to rear extension. Interior: deep
ceiling beams and post with stepped stops. Box-framed
dividing walls.
