SADDLEWORTH TAME LANE SD 90 NE (north side) 3/309 Model Farmhouse and adjoining - farm buildings G.V. II House and farm buildings. 1880s. Rock-faced stone with slate roof. Single-depth central-entrance plan with 2 storeys and a barn under the same roof at the rear. Projecting plinth, eaves gutter brackets, coped gables with kneelers and gable chimney stacks. Central door with overlight and flat canopy. 4-light double-chamfered mullion and transom windows to bays 1 and 3 and 2-light above door all with hoodmoulds. The rear elevation has a central cart entry, pitching holes on either side serving haylofts. Single-storey farm buildings extend from the rear at right and left to form a quadrangle.
