No. 8, The Hunting Lodge

Public house. Early C19 with later addition. Painted brick with planted timbering above ground floor, slate roofs. Two storeys, with attic to first bay, two bays, both gabled. First bay has sill bands. First bay timbering probably recent (1984), second bay has C19 timbering with decorative bargeboards. Windows have tripartite sashes with glazing bars, canted bay window to ground floor of second bay. Central round-headed entrance has panelled pilasters, archivolt and complete fanlight. Listed for group value only.
