Pynot Cottage
GV II
Cottage. Probably C17 and C18. Coursed squared gritstone with
gritstone dressings. Stone slate roof, coped gables with
moulded kneelers. Ashlar gable stack and one ridge stack. Two
storeys. North elevation of three bays. The two storey part
has two casements to the ground floor with stone surrounds. In
the centre a 2-light staircase window with square section flush
mullion and surround. Two similar 2-light windows above.
Single storey wing to east has a doorway with stone surround and
parapet above. Shallow bracketed hood.
