5/83 Mann's Place

II

Hall house. C15. Timber framed and clad with red brick and
plaster with plain tiled roof. Two storeys and hipped roof
with projecting stacks to left and right and central stack.
Five wood casements on first floor, 4 on ground floor, and
board door to centre with flat hood, and board door to right.
Interior: Some original mullioned windows survive to rear.
Dragon beams and posts indicate return jettied ends, and
remains of central recessed and coved hall. Stack and ceilings
added C17.
