Former priory gatehouse, later school library. C14, restored by G.E Street in 1880. Originally gatehouse to St Martin's Priory refounded by Archbishop Corbeuil in 1131.

Built of flint with stone dressings and renewed hipped tiled roof. Two storeys, the west part lower; three windows. Traceried windows except for west part which has a C19 triple window, round-headed on first floor. Dripmoulding above two windows. Central pointed arch with external chimney stack to left.
