C16 timber framed building with early C19 red brick mathematical tiled front
having arches of stone cut to resemble flat gauged work and box sashes having
single vertical glazing bar. Early Victorian shop front carried on through
to No 9 Market Street with pilasters to No 9 complete with moulded caps and
plinth, 6-panel door in 4 square glazed. No 7 slightly later window with central
door in one square. Cornice complete with heavy modern blind box on top.
No 9 is yellow brick built of 3 storeys with 2 yellow brick rubbed arches 1st
floor. Both have tiled roofs and eaves gutter.

Nos 1 to 9 (odd) with Nos 4 to 10 (even) Delf Street form a group.
