Barn on North side of
farmyard at Twitham Farm.

Barn. C18, altered. Timber frame on brick plinth with weatherboard cladding and
corrugated asbestos roof. Aisled, of 4 bays. Some old tarred weatherboarding
survives. Cart-entry in bay 3 has tall double doors, now of corrugated iron, rising
under flat roof; door hooks hang from walls either side. Half-hipped roof. Rear:
similar opposing cart entry with board pedestrian door to its left. Left return:
hard loading door. Interior: framing is largely intact having arcade posts
with marked jowels. Some added and some replacement wall studs; braces Straight,
except for curved-topped braces flanking entries; large-scantling arcade plate;
collared principal rafter log trusses clasping through purlins; ridge-piece is
added.
