GV II

House. Early C18 altered and extended mid C19. Red brick and plain tiled
roof. Two storeys and attic on plinth with moulded wooden eaves cornice to
hipped roof with 3 gabled dormers with stacks to rear left and to right.
Regular fenestration of 5 glazing bar sashes on first floor and 4 on ground
floor with gauged flying cornices. Central door of 6 raised and fielded
panels with rectangular fanlight in gabled porch. C19 wings to rear right
of one storey and attic and 1 storey, with 2 half dormers and 3 wooden
casements. Interior: staircase hall with dado panelling, stair with moulded
handrail, turned balusters on open string on half-landing plan. (R.C.H.M.
report, March 1978).
