east of Uphousden Farmhouse
GV II

Granary. Late C17. Red brick in garden wall bond variant. Plain tiled
roof. Two storeys with plat band and double course dogtooth cornice to
hipped roof. Boarded door to east front with moulded surround. The
bonding, with 1 course of stretchers, alternating with 1 of headers
and stretchers is common in the Minster-in-Thanet/Ash areas (Minster
bond).
