11/32 The Shrubbery
II
House. C17. Painted brick and corrugated iron clad roof (covering thatch).
Two bay lobby entry plan. One storey and garret on plinth, with central
stack. One wooden casement to right and C20 half-glazed porch to left of
central porch with kneelered gable with blocked oval niches. Right
return: now with C19 wooden casement on each floor, but with remains
of plat band and raised window surround on first floor. Interior:
inglenook fireplaces and heavy ceiling joists.
