Three houses, originally one, 1714, altered. Sandstone rubble (Nos. 9 & 10
rendered) with slate roof. 2 storeys. Each house of one bay. No.8, at the
left, has sashed windows with no glazing bars, with a plain stone surround
on the ground floor and plain reveals above. At the left there is a
blocked window surround on each floor. Door, at right, has plain reveals.
No. 9 has sashed windows with rendered surrounds. Door, at right, has
moulded surround with shaped lintel inscribed: 'AR? 1714'. No. 10 has a
modern qround-floor window and a sashed window above, both with rendered
surrounds. Its doorway is in the right-hand return wall. Coped gables.
Chimneys on gables and to right of door to No.10. Inside, No.8 has a
3-light rebated and chamfered mullioned window in the original rear wall
and axial main joists with edge roll moulding. No.9 has a baffle inside
the door and axial beams.
