Cottage, late C17 - early C18 or later re-using details. Coursed rubble with large
quoins. Stone slate roof. Modern casements on front of cottage with one chamfered
doorway which has heavy lintel and jambs. Rear has ovolo moulded doorway with Tudor
arched head, possibly moved from adjoining barn. Cottage has one C16 cruck truss
exposed inside. Only known cruck truss in a domestic building in the area.
