House. Early C19. Brick with stone dressings, slate roof.
3 storeys and basement, 4 bays. 1st floor sill course and
top cornice. All windows have wedge lintels and are sashed
without glazing bars. 2nd bay has round-headed entrance
with fluted capitals to attached columns and 3-panel double
doors. Plain iron area railings and 1st floor balcony.
Former home of Lytton Strachey.
