Small house, probably,late C18 or early C19, though incorporating earlier
architectural fragments possibly taken from the Church. A long range,
of coursed square rubble with stone tiled roof. 1½ storeys, with single
dormer. Basically a 3 unit plan, with 2 3-light mullioned windows left
of doorway, and a single 2-light window right of it. 1 gable and 1 axial.
stack, both polygonal, moulded stone. Western gable contains 2 blank
2-centred arches to ground floor, with quoins and hollow chamfered hood
moulds. Above these, and in the gable itself, is a large blank arched
recess with hoodmould, possibly a C19 copy. In the back wall of the
house, are 2 round arched window openings, with roll moulding and nail
head decoration. One appears to be a genuine architectural fragment,
the other a C19 copy. This building served as an infants school during
the C19.
