Public House. C18/early C19. Coursed rubble stone with quoins and stone
dressings and Collyweston slate roof with moulded stone end stacks. Stone
coped gables. 2½ storeys of 3 8/8 sash windows and further similar blank
frame with painted sign. 3 4/4 sash dormers above. On ground floor a
central stone bay to left with 4/4 : 6/6 : 4/4 sashes, then 2 leaved
part-glazed door with overlight (glazing bars forming diamond) and stone
canopy on carved consoles (blank frame over this) and 2 further 8/8
sashes. Lintels have keystones. To rear 2 and 1 storey wings with end
stacks.
