Early C19 gateway. Cemented gate pier with cast iron screen between including
4 openwork cast iron piers, 2 of which carry the Ferrers Crest, coronet and
motto on plaques, topped by flaming bowls, 2 carry square lanterns surmounted
by Earl's coronets. Speartop railings. Two drive gates & 2 pedestrian gates.
Single-storey lodge on cross plan in tudor style. Stucco with stone dressings
to windows etc. Slate roof.
