- II
Church. 1855 by P.C. Hardwick. Coursed dressed ironstone, slate roof. Nave,
chancel, vestry and north-west porch. Early English style. One bay chancel with
east window of 5 lancets under hood mould, vestry timbered with single lancet
north window on north side of chancel. 4-bay nave has single and coupled lancet
windows. Gabled west porch on low stone walls. West window of 3 lancets, under
hood mould. Angle buttresses at east and west sides, stone coped gables and
gabled west bellcote with open pointed arch containing one bell. Interior:
chancel has painted stone reredos, painted roof, stencilled window splays and
encaustic tile floor. C19 stained glass to east and south-east windows.
