Pair of houses. 1894. By William Owen. Brick with timber-
framed 1st floor, tile roof. 2 storeys, L-plan. Gables have
decorated bargeboards and bressumers. 1st bay has small
gabled projection balanced by 4-light canted bay window with
architrave to right. Projection has 2 windows with gauged-
brick cambered arches and sashes with upper glazing bars; bay
window has small-paned casements. Right return has projecting
lateral stack flanked by sashed windows.2nd bay has sashed
windows with upper glazing bars. Right return has gabled
projection with 1st floor jettied on carved brackets over
stone-framed canted bay window. 1st bay to 1st floor has 2-
light casement; right return has half-gableted window to right
of stack. 2nd bay has gableted 2-light window; right return
has 3-light projecting window on decorated brackets with
jettied gable over. Entrances have 3-panel doors with 3
lights, that to 2nd bay has canopy. Rear has timber framed
gables, rear stack and privies.
