Terrace of 8 houses. 1926. By J. Lomax Simpson. Brick
with roughcast 1st floor, timber framed ends; stone slate
roof. 2 storeys, 13 bays; 1st bay projects by one bay, 2nd
and end bays break forward under gables. 3rd to 12th bays
have 1st floor jettied on bressumer. Windows have leaded
casements, most of 3 lights. 5th and 6th bays have central
recessed porch flanked by 4-light half-canted bay windows,
end bay has 2-light window. 1st floor has 3-light windows,
those above entrances of 2 lights, all but end ones paired;
end bay has 4-light window. Entrances have plank doors with
small-paned lights that to 1st bay with lean-to canopy.
Returns of 1st bay is gabled with 2 quatrefoils to 1st
floor and lateral stack cross-axial stacks and gable end
stacks. Brick rear, small-paned casements and sashes.
