Circa 1840-50 cast iron road bridge with depressed arch, plain spandrels,
girders supporting deck panels having sharply curved return to brick abutments.
Stone strings on abutments continuing cast iron one of bridge, cast parapets
with solid X panels. Probably Horseley Ironworks. Groups with adjacent lock
and canal cottage.
