Early Calthorpe Estate villa of circa 1820-30. Grecian stucco symmetrical
3 bay elevation on 2 storeys. Plinth, shallow rustication to tall ground
floor, struck into round arched panels containing windows. First floor with
band. Cornice and blocking course with raised centre panel. Hipped slate
roof, brick chimney stacks. Revealed glazing bar sashes. Recessed entrance
pilaster framed with frieze of Soanian incised pattern, modillion cornice.
Set back 2 storey former coach house to left with hipped lean-to slate roof,
now with through archway. Small pediment gabled wing of one storey to right,
(perhaps former billiard room) with bracket moulded arched tripartite window.
