Circa 1855-60 Tudor-gothic detached villa. Asymmetrical, 2 storeys and attic,
white roughcast with stucco quotas and dressings. Two gabled bays, one breaking
forward from the other, from the front and back on to a crosswing with a lower
service wing behind. Gables have delicately pierced bargeboards with finials.
Steep slate roofs with bands of scalloped slates, decorative masking tiles.
Gable of rear wing has saddlestone surmounted by ogee moulded chimney stack;
otherwise grouped or single chimney shafts on red brick stacks, 2 with tall
terracotta Tudor pattern pots. Fenestration consists of 2, 3 and 4 light wood
mullioned transomed windows in splayed reveals, rectangular mullioned bay
windows to ground floor on front elevation. Verandah to east garden front.
Entrance in angle of crosswing to west side, canted across with Tudor arched
door, panelled spandrels and arcaded parapet.
