House. Circa 1830 with circa mid C19 extensions. Rendered brick.
Slate roof with gabled ends and overhanging verges and eaves. 2
rendered brick axial stacks symmetrical on ridge.
Rectangular plan with central entrance hall and two circa mid Cl9
service wings at rear.
2 storeys and attic. Symmetrical 3-window south front. Large 20-
pane sashes in giant semi-circular headed recesses, the centre
recess narrow with small pedimental gable above containing semi-
circular recessed lunette with intersecting glazing bars. Central
recessed doorway with semi-circular fanlight with radiating
glazing bars, pilasters and glazed door. Blind and sash windows
with glazing bars in side elevations and semi-circular attic
lunette in gable. 2 short brick wings at rear, that to right has
pointed arch loft doorway in gable end; the left hand wing has
very large brick stack and lean-to outshut on gable end with
lunette in arched recess.
