Cl4-16. The old Selly Manor was bought by George Cadbury in 1907 and
re-erected here under the supervision of W Alexandra Harvey in 1912-16
using old materials specially brought in for the purpose. Timber framed
with plaster infill and some C16 brick nogging; old tile roof with big
C16/C17 star-shaped chimney stacks. Three gabled bays of different dates,
the earliest perhaps that on the left, advanced and with the upper storey
overhanging on curved brackets. The centre bay Cl5 with two 4-light leaded
casements with wing lights. A dimple inset porch between the second and
third bay. On the left-hand return a small gabled wooden porch with unglazed
4-light windows and stairs to first floor.
