C1838, J Locke engineer. Viaduct over canal and Lichfield Road: 3 arches from
embankment with 4th over road. Brick with ashlar dressings. Elliptical arches
with stepped ashlar voussoirs and channelled ashlar piers with block impost return
as string under skewed soffit of arches.
